Podgorica Airport – Podgorica
Arrival at Podgorica Airport and transfer to our hotel in the city. Welcome dinner and overnight in Podgorica. Kosovo Macedonia and Albania

Podgorica City tour – Kolasin
In the morning we take a walking tour of Podgorica, to explore more about the capital city before going to the mountains. We visit the old town and walk through some of the most important historical sites such as Republic square, St George church from the 11th century, the Skaline, the Doganjska Mosque from the 15th century, the clock tower, the Millenium and Russian bridges, and the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ.
Leaving the capital, we drive towards the mountain village of Kolasin, and the National Park of Biogradska Gora
We visit the park, One of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves, this are is one of the last three large virgin forests in Europe. The landscape is one of mountain ridges, glacial lakes, and temperate forest. Although it is the smallest of four National Parks in Montenegro, Biogradska Gora National Park contains a big diversity of flora and fauna, including 220 different plants, 150 kinds of birds, 86 kinds of trees.
We enjoy a walk in the Biogadsko lake, located at an altitude of 1094m
We spend the afternoon in Kolasin, the small village surrounded by high mountains and the two rivers, Tara and Moraca. Because of its altitude of about 1000 meters and the favorable climate Kolasin is considered a natural SPA area. Kolasin – Peja – Monastery of Decan (Kosovo)
After breakfast we proceed towards Peja in Kosovo, a mixture of modern Yugoslav development and buildings of the Otoman era around the bazaar. We enjoy a long panoramic drive through the mountain areas connecting Montenegro and Kosovo, and arrive in Peja around lunch time. We stop for lunch in a local restaurant in the city center, before starting the tour. The city is near the caves in the Rugova Canyon, which served as cells for the hermits of the Orthodox monks. Further we will head toward Decan Monastary, a medieval Orthodox Christian monastery.

Peja – Prizren UNESCO
Our next stop is the city of Prizren. The city is located in the foothills of the Sharr Mountains, and is enrolled in the UNESCO list. Walking tour in the old town. Relaxing evening, dinner and overnight in Prizren.

Prizren – Skopje (Macedonia)
This morning we transfer towards Macedonia, where we will spend the overnight in the capital city, Skopje. On arrival we start the city tour of Skopje. The territory of the present day Skopje has been inhabited since at least 4000 BC and Neolithic remains have been found in the Kale Fortress. We visit the city center, the old bazaar, Kale Fortress, and the memorial house of Mother Tereza.Kosovo Macedonia and Albania

Skopje – Ohrid UNESCO

Leaving Skopje, we drive towards Ohrid *UNESCO where we visit the old town located in the shores of lake Ohrid. Visit the Cathedral of St. Sofia built between the 11th and 14th century, which was the seat of the Archbishop. Also we walk by the church of St. Clement, a classic Orthodox Byzantine church which demonstrates the link between Byzantine and Italian Renaissance art, and the Icon Gallery. Boat trip in Ohrid lake, Dinner and overnight in Ohrid.

Ohrid – Berat UNESCO (Albania)
This morning we return in Albania, driving towards UNESCO heritage town, Berat. Berat is the pride of Albanian antiquity and architecture and forms a wonderful combination of eastern and western cultures, costumes and traditions. The architecture of the old houses, with large windows that overlook the town, is the first think that impresses the visitors. Arriving Berat, we enjoy lunch in the city before starting the tour. First stop: the Citadel. It overlooks the river and the modern city as well as the old Christian quarter across the river. The citadel can be reached by a steep road and is still inhabited. Inside the walls, you can visit ruined mosques and several medieval Orthodox churches, all intact and with restored frescoes and icons. Onufri National Museum is located in the inner part of “Saint Mary Church” in Castle of Berat. This Museum offers a collection of 173 belonging to the found of Albanian Churches and Monasteries. Afternoon visit of a local winery for degustation of local wines and snacks. (Optional) Traditional dinner in a local restaurant located by the old town and Overnight in Berat.

Berat – Tirana
Today we will visit the capital city of Albania, Tirana. Tirana has a never-ending movement and energy. This metropolis city is worth to discover by day and night. Founded in the 1614, Tirana is now a developed city which combines culture, history, contemporary architecture and lots of hospitality shown towards tourists. As you take a walk in Tirana you will enjoy the look of the colorful buildings, fancy coffees and green parks. Walk by the main boulevard, the Pyramid, The opera House and National Library, Governmental buildings, the new bazaar and the pedestrian area. Entrance to the National Historical Museum. Tirana – Shkodra – Budva (Montenegro)
Today we return to Montenegro, Along the way we stop and visit the town of Shkodra, in border between Albania and Montenegro. Shkodra is one of the oldest cities in the Balkans and was once a capital of the Illyrian state. We visit its old bazaar, before reaching Rozafa castle for spectacular views of the city, lake and the surrounding mountains – from the top of the hill. Continue further the old tonw of Budva. We enjoy dinner by the seaside. Overnight in Budva.

Budva – The baroque town of Perast and boat ride 1 hrs – Exploring the UNESCO old town of Kotor – Budva
This morning we visit Perast the most picturesque baroque town on the whole Adriatic coast, after the drive through the panoramic road overlooking the Boka Bay. Arriving in Perast, we take a boat tour and reach the artificial island, built in the 15th century. We are going to visit the Church of Our Lady of the Rock (sanctuary of sailors of the old times), and the museum built on the island. The Church is a shrine and a treasury which houses the biggest world collection of the silver votive tablets. We then make a comfort stop at the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Kotor. The old port of Kotor is surrounded by fortifications built during the Venetian period, and is a picturesque Mediterranean landscape. Visit the old town and the Cathedral of St Thryphon. In the afternoon return to Budva. Dinner and overnight.

Budva – Cetinje – Podgorica
Today we explore another highlight of Montenegro. We drive towards Cetinje, The ancient capital of Montenegro, founded at the foot of Lovcen Mountain in the 13th century. It is located at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level, in a unique climate zone. The city is also called as an open-air museum and it is the country’s cultural center with many historical and architectural monuments.
In the afternoon we take a walking tour of Podgorica, to explore more about the capital city before going to the mountains. We visit the old town and walk through some of the most important historical sites such as Repuclic square, St George church from the 11th century, the Skaline, the Doganjska Mosque from the 15th century, the clock tower, the Millenium and Russian bridges, and the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. Dinner and overnight in Podgorica.
